The Clinic

The Forrestfield Physiotherapy Centre is a family-owned business on Hale Rd, Forrestfield. It has its own suite between a Medical practice and a Pharmacy. Nearby is a Radiology Clinic and there is a Dental practice and a Pathology collection point within the Medical Centre. Forrestfield Physiotherapy Centre was already a well-established practice at a nearby site when it was purchased. When they became available, the Centre was moved to its current modern premises near the other related businesses. The owner negotiated with other professionals to commence Podiatry and Massage businesses in the suite, which continue to this day as separate businesses (Forrestfield Podiatry and Forrestfield Massage Centre) although for convenience we share reception services.

The centre is very easy to find- located on the corner of Hale Rd and Woolworths Avenue, it is not far from McDonalds and there is a KFC right behind it! It has its own door between the Medical Centre and Pharmacy.

Our Practice Mission Statement

Forrestfield Physiotherapy is a business striving to supply physiotherapy services of the highest professional standard to the local community, and promote awareness of the available services and of the profession. We provide a paramedical service for the local medical practitioners and a means of livelihood and income generation for physiotherapists and clerical staff.

The centre is mainly a musculoskeletal, manual therapy clinic. We assess and treat a wide variety of clients with a variety of conditions and injuries. (See “Our Services” [**link?**]) We treat Private clients and clients covered by Motor Vehicle Third Party Insurance, Workers’ Compensation Insurance, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs or Extended Primary Care.

We treat the physical aspects of a large variety of conditions- sports, work or vehicle-related injuries and postural problems. The conditions treated include spinal problems, joint and muscle pains. After assessing clients’ needs and expectations we employ techniques including joint mobilisation, manipulation, exercise, electrotherapy and advice regarding self-management.
